L.A. Comedy Club at the Edgewater Casino Resort Brings Fresh Laughs to Laughlin This February

This February, L.A. Comedy Club takes comedy to the next level with a dynamic lineup of renowned comedians and hilarious performances, making it the go-to destination for laughs in Laughlin.

Laughlin, Nevada—Jan. 23, 2025L.A. Comedy Club, located inside the Edgewater Casino Resort, is bringing non-stop laughter to Laughlin this February with an incredible lineup of talented comedians. From Agostino Zoida's masterful storytelling and Peter Berman's sharp observational humor to Julio Gonzalez's side-splitting takes on life, the stage is set for an unforgettable month of laughter.   • Wednesday, Jan. 29 through Sunday, Feb. 2: Agostino Zoida featuring James Michael

Agostino Zoida is an Italian-American, born and raised in Los Angeles. He spent the first seven years of his career touring with legendary Joey Diaz and has always brought the funny to the stage with a passionate and unique point of view on life, marriage and family – all while maintaining his likability and a gentleman savvy mentality. He is a crowd favorite and creative storyteller, making him one of the top comedy writers in the industry. Zoida has written for hit network television shows such as “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “Louie” and “American Horror Story.” He has also appeared in several comedy sketches on “Comedy Central,” “Funny or Die” and in the “Netflix is A Joke: Festival” as well as being asked to perform in for the “Just For Laughs” in Montreal.

James Michael, a Mississippi native, is a part-time tattoo artist, fitness model and comedic magician. Known for his sleight of hand, comedic timing and fun antics on stage, Michael combines his hilarious antics with the wonderment of modern magic, providing an amazing show each and every time. Michael has brought laughs around the world for more than 30 years by means of cruise ships, corporate functions and television shows. Named among Las Vegas’ top 10 magicians for three consecutive years, he was also awarded the silver medal for “Best Magic Show” in Las Vegas in 2020.

  • Wednesday, Feb. 5 through Sunday, Feb. 9: Peter Berman

Peter Berman got his break when he was invited to a gig at Hollywood Improv. The following summer, he finished his degree in communications and moved from Michigan to Los Angeles, where he quickly became a regular in the stand-up comedy scene. He rose through the ranks, opening for big-name comics like Tim Allen and Paul Reisner. He later became a regular on MTV, VH1 and Comedy Central as well as shows such as “The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn,” “Star Search” and a guest host on NBC’s “Friday Night.” Berman also appeared on Comedy Central's international television series “The World Stands Up” and won over audiences in England, Ireland, Australia, The Netherlands and Scotland. With a mix of personal life chaos and observational humor, Peter is now developing TV shows, including a sitcom inspired by his unconventional family life.

  • Wednesday, Feb. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 16: Mike Krasner featuring James Michael

Originally from New York, Mike Krasner started doing stand-up comedy in 2005. A charismatic presence, Krasner takes the stage and speaks his mind, whether it be an odd observation, stories about everyday life, family experiences or anything self-deprecating, he is sure to relate to everyone in the audience. After appearing in New York’s top comedy clubs as well as starring in an interactive improv show, Krasner decided to move to Las Vegas. He quickly became a starting cast member of the longest-running improv troupe in Las Vegas and is now a regular performer on The Strip. Krasner offers audiences his quick wit, playful banter and refreshing takes on life and has opened for comedians such as Jim Norton, Bob Nelson and Sammy Shore, among others.

  • Wednesday, Feb. 19 through Sunday, Feb. 23: Julio Gonzalez

Julio Gonzalez has taken the comedy world, and the Las Vegas Strip, by storm. Recently awarded Silver for “Best Comedian” in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s 2024 “Best of Las Vegas” awards, his comedy is based on his bilingual upbringing and life experiences including weight loss, relationships, society, women and living life to the fullest. While Gonzalez is living his dream job as a comedian, he uses his platform to be the difference he would like to see in the world. He frequently hosts free shows for first responders and teachers as well as collects donations of non-perishable food items and clothing in support of local food banks and shelters resulting in over two tons of food and more than 1000 articles of clothes helping homeless and low-income families.

  • Wednesday, Feb. 26 through Sunday, March 2: Ron Josol featuring Todd Royce

Ron Josol is a Filipino-Canadian who has taken his comedy worldwide, from the Persian Gulf to the Pacific Islands. In his second year of performing as a comedian, he won the “Craven A’s Funniest Homegrown Competition” at the “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival. He has been featured on ABS-CBN Asia and Omni as well as has appeared on numerous stand-up comedy specials, including “Ethnical Difficulties” on CBC and “Comedy Now!” on The Comedy Network.

Todd Royce was a professional wrestler for 18 years before getting into stand-up comedy. He toured throughout North America, performing in comedy clubs eventually becoming known as "The American Wet Dream" and "Top Choice Todd Royce.” Royce was given a Golden Ticket on the popular “Kill Tony” podcast by host Tony Hinchcliffe. The ticket allowed him to perform at “Cobb's Comedy Club” in San Francisco and the “World Famous Comedy Store” in Los Angeles. Royce has amassed over 500,000 followers on Tiktok, gaining popularity with comedy sketches featuring his catchphrase "What's That...?"
